What's new in Softr

Group related pages into folders and build flexible hierarchies by nesting pages under folders or other pages. Create pages directly within any level. Hover over any page to quickly check its visibility.

Snapshots provide saved copies of your Softr Database, helping you recover from unwanted changes. Restore any snapshot as a new database whenever you need it.

To get started, simply open any Softr Database, then click the dropdown next to its name > Snapshots.

Note: Snapshots currently have to be taken manually. Automated backups are coming soon.

Connect Snowflake as a native data source and build secure dashboards, internal tools, and portals directly on top of your warehouse data.

The Snowflake integration is available on the Enterprise plan. Contact sales if you'd like access.

You can now use Microsoft Excel as a data source for your Softr apps, making it easy to build portals, internal tools, and dashboards directly on top of your spreadsheets.

Keep logged-in users informed with push notifications on desktop and mobile. Send custom notifications from your workflows with the Push Notification action. To get started, go to your App > Users > Notifications.

Push notifications for comments and mentions are coming soon.

Note: On iOS, users will need to install your app as a PWA to receive notifications.

Create ZIP archives automatically as part of your workflows. Bundle multiple files into a single ZIP file before storing, sharing, or sending them to users.

We've added two updates that give you more control when a workflow doesn't run as expected:

- Replay failed workflow executions: This helps you recover faster when an issue is fixed or a temporary error is resolved.
- Continue on error: Let a workflow keep running even if one action fails. This is useful when one step isn't critical to the rest of the process.

You can now connect a single Vibe Code block to multiple data sources to achieve more advanced use cases. Each table you decide to connect can have its own filter and sort control!
