Predictable pricing
Softr has fixed pricing plans, offering higher ROI potential than most platforms out there. The free plan lets you start building and gathering feedback right away. When you’re ready to upgrade, the lowest paid plan starts at $49 per month, unlocking over 1000 seats and many features you need to create powerful apps. Simple, cost-effective pricing. Bubble’s pricing is based on a workload metric. You’ll pay a fixed price per month and have a base workload budget. Every time someone clicks a button, displays a list or runs a workflow inside your app, you’ll be deducted the corresponding workload units. Since you can easily bring your Google Sheets and Airtable Bases, Softr is better suited for quickly spinning up a set of internal tools to tackle a new project or optimizing existing workflows. You can display the data, set up CRUD (create, read, update and delete) operations and have all data available for your entire team. Bubble isn’t great for this use case. It doesn’t offer a straightforward connection to your Sheets or Bases, making it harder to update data on those sources: you need to set up an API connection, use a 3rd-party plugin or upload a CSV yourself.

Yes. Both Softr and Bubble let you create progressive web apps (PWAs): apps you can use on your mobile phone that require a connection to the internet. When building with Softr, your app is responsive right from the start, making it look great on all devices without extra setup time. With Bubble you’ll have to build the mobile user interface and functionality yourself.
Softr doesn’t offer the possibility of hosting your own apps on your own infrastructure. Bubble offers self-hosting on its highest tier pricing plan, Custom.
