Join the Softr academy
Create a free account at Softr Academy to begin your certification journey. Here, you can take the certification exam, review your previous attempts, and access your certification once you pass.
Take the exam
Take our 50-question test and finish within 100 minutes. Score 80% or higher, and you’ll earn your professional certification. Don’t worry if you don’t pass on the first try—you can retake the exam up to three times within six months.

What You’ll Be Tested On
The test evaluates 10 critical competencies, including core concepts, security, Softr API, automations, and more, ensuring you are a well-rounded Softr developer. Achieving Softr Certified Professional status proves that your certification is well-earned and trusted.

Advanced settings, page and block types, data sources, linked records, formulas, PWA, core pages, URL proficiency, and custom code.

You can start either certification by providing the name and email address associated with your Softr account. The Fundamentals Certification includes 25 questions and is designed for beginners. The Professional Certification includes 50 questions and requires a score of 80% or higher to pass (at least 40 correct answers). Both exams can be accessed through the Softr Academy.
This certifications are free.
For the Fundamentals Certification, you can retake the exam as many times as needed until you pass. For the Professional Certification, you can attempt the exam up to 3 times within a 6-month period. If you don’t pass after 3 tries, you’ll need to wait 6 months before attempting it again.
Once you pass an official exam, you can add your certification status to your portfolio, your resume, your LinkedIn, and your certification badge to your portfolio website.
Once you pass a Softr Certification exam, your certification remains valid for a full year from the date of issue. However, to maintain your certified status beyond that year, you'll be required to take and successfully pass the updated version of the exam.
Becoming a certified professional does not equate to Softr guaranteeing the quality of the work. The professional is solely responsible for this.
